word processor plugin installation (word:mac 2008)

I have tried to install the word processor plugin for word: mac 2008 several times following the instructions and the troubleshooting instructions but it just won't work. I tried to do it manually copying the zotero folder to an equvalent folder in a non-English version of Word (I mainly use Spanish and Swedish), but the folders appear in different languages (swe and eng.) in the Microsoft Use Data Folder. Just can't think of what to do???

    define "won't work" - doesn't appear, doesn't do anything when you click it, produces error?

    I have followed the troubleshooting instructions for both English and non-English versions of Office installed but the problem is that the Zotero folder does not appear in ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Word Script Menu Items. On my computer the first part (Microsoft User Data) is in English and the second in Swedish. I cannot find two different folders (one in each language) that would enable me to "copy the Zotero folder from ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Word Script Menu Items to the equivalent folder for your non-English version of Office"
    What can I do to make the Plug in script appear?
    Looking for a Zotero folder on the computer it appears in Library-Application Support-Firefox-Profiles-7eglrc.default-zotero

    As installing I was not asked to write my password, as sometimes happens when installing new applications.

    Sorry, I was looking at a newer version. Install the 3.0 Branch MacWord Integration plugin dev XPI (not the trunk, and not the 2.0 Branch dev XPI of Zotero itself) over your current version and restart Firefox. Try Reinstall Word Components again. If that doesn't fix the problem on its own, you should at least see the install.py file in the location I specified and should be able to make the above edit.
