How can I start Zotero without Zotero Icon?

I just "sucessfully" registered with zotero. But I don't get the Zotero-Icon. Where can I find it? My computer is a Mac book. I would like to start working with Zotero as fast as possible. Thanks a lot for your advice!

I have the same problem here. I have a Toshiba, Windows 8. I installed in with Google Chrome. How can I get the Zotero-Icon?

Yes,but that information is for Firefox. A friend told me she uses Zotero with Google Chrome. As I don't have Firefox, I would like to use it with Google Chrome as well..

To use Zotero with Google chrome, you need to install 1)Zotero Standalone and 2)the Zotero connector for Google Chrome.
