APA - Line Spacing Fix?
The citations in the bibliography currently are double spaced within the citation as well as between the citations. APA should be single space within the citation and double spaced between the citations.
Is it possible for the user to edit the formatting of the citations and/or bibliography?

<option name="line-spacing" value="2"/>
to
<option name="line-spacing" value="1"/>
does that do the trick?
http://www.zotero.org/support/csl_simple_edits
for general instructions for simple style changes.
I was able to drag the .csl file into firefox, but I am not finding anyway to install it. The directions say to drag the file into FIrefox, and click Install...but I'm not finding that opiton.
Thanks,
Bailey
The "install" is a pop-up window.
Alternatively, try installing through the Zotero preferences --> Styles ---> click the + sign
and then select the style file.
When I try to install via preferences in Zotero, I'm not able to select the .csl file (it's grayed out).
I used Text Edit for the Mac, and used plain text mode.
The reference test looks ok (single space within citations, double space between), but once in my word document the bibliography has single spacing within and between the references.
In theory "line-spacing" is the general line spacing and
"entry-spacing" is the extra space between two entries. So you might want to set both to 1?
But my sense is that they interact with the word processor to be a little unpredictable. At least I have never been able to figure this out correctly.
Let me know what you come up with and if that works more broadly I'll put it in the available style.
It's ok. It's a free program, and I love it, even though it's got some quirks. Thank you so much for the quick and useful responses. I think I'll donate now...
