Edit Bibliography function not working

I am currently using Zotero on my Mac (10.5.8) with Microsoft Word 2004. I have downloaded the most recent version of Zotero and the most recent plugin for Word. Everything else seems to be working, but nothing happens when I hit the Edit Bibliography button. There's no error message, but it also doesn't do anything at all... how do I remedy this?

    Insert Citation and Insert Bibliography work? Is the cursor within the bibliography when you click it? Are you sure the window isn't appear behind the Word window? Have you tried in a new document?

    Insert Citation and Insert Bibliography both work. The cursor is within the bibliography when I click it. No, a window doesn't appear behind the Word window. And I have tried it in a new document and it hasn't worked. It hasn't been working for several weeks now and I've tried messing with it but nothing seems to work.

    Have you tried restarting your computer? (This is only rarely helpful on Macs, of course, but I don't believe we've ever seen this issue before, so it's worth a try.)

    Also, restart Firefox, try Edit Bibliography, and then generate a Report ID immediately afterward.

    Okay, I've done that... and the Report ID is 142855771.

    OK, and try disabling your other Firefox extensions.

    You might also delete localstore.rdf (which stores window settings and will be automatically recreated) from your Firefox profile directory.

    A Debug ID from trying to open the pane may also be helpful.

    okay, I've disabled all non-zotero plugins and deleted localstore.rdf. My Debug ID is D543841088.

    I just noticed that the most recent version of zotero is 2.0.8 and I'm running 2.0.6, would that make a difference?

    That Debug ID appears to show an Add Bibliography call. Make sure you clear the output immediately before clicking Edit Bibliography so we can tell exactly what's going on (or not).

    You can upload to 2.0.8, but it's unlikely to have any effect on this.

    It's not logging any lines when I just hit edit bibliography (this is when I already have a bibliography started that I have clicked within--just to be clear).

    It's still not working, and I tried doing the Debug ID again but it doesn't log any lines when I hit Edit Biliography.

    OK, try the latest MacWord Integration 3.0 Branch XPI (not the Zotero 2.0 Branch XPI, not the trunk anything) and let us know if it fixes the problem.

    Okay, so I downloaded that, and once I restarted Firefox, I got the message "you must have Word 2004 or later to operate this, please update" (or something to that effect). I do have Word 2004 but I opened word and went to about Word to verify that yes, I do have Word 2004 (just to make sure I wasn't going crazy). I tried using edit bibliography again and still nothing happens.

    Does the latest 3.0 Branch XPI install? (Try Tools->Add-ons->Extensions->Find Updates or clear your browser cache and redownload to get the latest, which should be 3.0b4.r6891 or higher.)
