Citation Numbering incorrect for OpenOffice
Hi
Im not very computer minded person....so if you know how to fix this problem please explain it very clearly. I am writing a long thesis in OpenOffice. 300 pages now. Regardless of how long it is, I have always had problems with Zotero and adding citations. Everything is all well and good when I add citation and Bibliography. However when I close the file and then work on it another day, the citations start off at number "1" again. I can no longer edit the previous citations and also they seem to change in size (ie the number goes from superscript to normal).
I am finding this very frustating as I have to keep going back and redoing all of the citations in 1 go. How can i open and close OpenOffice and continue with the citations without them continuously wanting to start at number 1 the next time I use the file?

Is this why its acting up?
I would like to forward this document to my boss....hopefully change it to Pdf for the final version.
You can use "Bookmarks" (change this in the "Set Document Preferences" dialogue of the Zotero Ooo plugin), but unless absolutely necessary I'd recommend against this.)
Instead, I would suggest you use .odt with Reference Marks and then export to pdf.
It is 1 - 4 ok, then another day I worked on the file, so it starts off at 1 again....so 1 - 7 and then the day after 1 - 5 etc.
What do I need to do, for Openoffice and Zotero to have the correct numbering system? For 300 pages its very annoying going back to change all citations in 1 go before I save and close the file.
