I just tried a sync with the multilingual version, and it tells me the data is not well-formed.

Not sure where the trouble lies. I've tried not to touch anything that would be seen by sync, but I must have put a foot wrong somewhere. If details are available in the log at that end, I'll try to patch things up in the client.

Possibly it's stumbling over two first-class field variables that I added to creators: servantLang and masterIndex. The data is encoded in the lastName field, so if that's the trouble, it might be enough to screen them out at this end.

See the data8 files. All uploads are validated quite strictly, so additional fields would indeed kill the sync.

Bingo, that was the problem. It's currently dropping the supplemental data on multilingual fields in the sync, but that's just a matter of teaching the client to be literal-minded on certain fields.
