Tag Add Fails

Using Firefox 2.0.0.9, Sage and Windows Vista:

After successfully snapshotting and tagging a web page frequently when I create a second snapshot and click on Tags>Add no cursor appears in the text entry box and no text is accepted. This often is accompanied by a black rectangular box in that same area when I close Zotero. The only way to return to normal functionality is to close and restart Firefox.

    Do any errors show up under Report Errors in Zotero's Actions (gear icon) menu?

    If not (i.e. it's grayed out), do you have any extensions other than Sage installed? You might try disabling all extensions other than Zotero.

    Errors indicator is grayed out. No other add-ons except for Sage.

    And you've tried disabling Sage?

    I'm having a similar problem. I can add one article after opening firefox and everything works fine. After that, all I get is a blank gray box at the bottom right of firefox with no text whenever I try to add anything. Hoping that it was just a bug, I checked "My Library" and nothing was added. I am running

    Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.10) Gecko/20071126 Ubuntu/7.10 (gutsy) Firefox/2.0.0.10
    and Zotero 1.0.1

    My other addons I'm using are ubufox, cssviewer, bookmark synchronizer, firefox companion fore ebay, and restarter

    ps - i tried doing it with flock and I get the same exact error
