Zotero - Word 2010 Plugin is not working!

    I can't tell if this was the forum I was working in last night. I can't get the zotero toolbar to show up in Word 2010 Beta. I followed the instructions to find the folder which is the startup folder for Word and make sure Zotero.dot is there. It is. Still no Zotero. I'm going to try: Office Button-->Word Options->Add-ins-->Manage Templates
    Check box next to Zotero.dot
    listed above. But I'm not optimistic. When Word starts up, it lists two add-ins loading: Google Desktop and One Note.

    I just tried all that. Zotero.dot is not there. Should it possibly be in the Add-in folder rather than the startup folder? I'm not sure how to get there.

    I tried copying zotero.dot to the add-in folder,, and I got an error message saying that path is not a valid office add-in.

    Hi, i had the same problem and i solve it just copying zotero.dot in C:\Users\youruser\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\Inicio if your office is in spanish or in the file startup if is in english!!

    No zotero.dot folder anywhere on my computer.

    installed plugin successfully many times, according to firefox, but still no file.

    please help.

    the zotero plugin file is a .xpi, where do you get .dot?

    So, I did the same thing with the xpi file and opened it with word and word said it was unreadable :(

    rebooted word and it shows now!!!!! genius!!!!
