Word 2008 for Mac plug in not working

I have followed the trouble shooting instructions for the Word 2008 Mac plugin and have installed the latest version of Python. But I am still getting the error message that something was missing in the install. I also cannot access the zotero menu under the manuscript icon. Any ideas?

    Please provide a report ID, along with the full text of the error message you're getting.

    Right, I got 392635633 for a report ID. I am not getting the error message when I open Word now. But I still can't access Zotero from under the scroll icon. Thanks.

    When I click on the scroll icon and then click on about this menu, and then click on open menu, then a zotero folder opens. In it there are seven icons which appear to match the normal zotero functions that I would expect to be in the plugin. When I open them it looks like a bunch of code. But there is a green run button at the top. If I click it, then it seems like it performs the appropriate function back in my document. So it seems like it has installed part of the way.

    Have you tried restarting Word? Do you have a non-English version of Word?

    It's normal word, and I have turned it off and restarted it a few times.
