Neoffice Zotero Mac

Hi guys,

I just installed Neoffice and Zotero on my new Macbook Pro after my Asus laptop died.
I am having problems in connecting Firefox and Neooffice - I get the following message:

Zotero Integration Error

Firefox could not load the component required to communicate with your word processor. Please ensure that the appropriate Firefox extension is installed and try again.

I am using

Firefox 3.6.8
Neoffice 3.1.1 patch 1
Zotero 2.0.3
Zotero Openoffice Integration Firefox addon 3.0.a8

Also - I am trying to make Openoffice work too but apparently I can't get it to install the Zotero bar!

Any ideas? My dissertation at stake!

    I uninstalled Neoffice and I was able to install Zotero in Openoffice.

    However, the problem is still the same - Zotero Integration Error

    what to?

    Can you provide a report ID? Usually, this error message indicates there's something wrong with your Java installation. Do you see the pink box here?

    thank you for giving information on how to report errors. My ID is: 1305765594

    Also, I see Java is not working on my system (no pink box). I thought this issue would have been solved switching to Mac! How do I deal with this?

    You have to generate a report ID after triggering the issue. Java should work automatically on OS X, but there are several reasons it might not. Start by installing the latest Java update and reinitializing the Firefox plugins database. if that doesn't work, there are some further hints in this thread on the Firefox forums.
