Firefox automatically upgraded itself to version 3.6.7 today which meant that I had to upgrade to Zotero 2.0.3. Upon restarting Firefox, I received a message that the Zotero database was corrupted. I used the database repair tool and placed the new file in the Zotero database directory as instructed. When attempting to continue with the database conversion, I received a message that the conversion failed. Please help.
  • Try restarting your computer.

Are you using an external syncing program (Dropbox, etc.)? Is this a network drive? You should absolutely not get database corruption.
  • Thanks, Dan. I think I've figured it out. The instructions say to delete zotero.sqlite.is.corrupt if it shows up in the directory. Well, it did not show up in the directory at first--only later on. When I double-checked, I saw it and deleted it. The conversion was then able to take place.
