Syncing speed: Zotero or WebDAV?

I just purchased the 1GB storage account plan and I'm wondering if there is a way to speed up the syncing? I like to use Zotero not only for adding cites but adding notes and I've noticed that it takes 10 minutes or longer for the notes to appear on the web (viewing in web browser). I've configured my sync preferences to Zotero (rather than WebDAV). Would it be faster if I selected WebDav? If so, is there any additional steps I need to take or need to do? Thanks.

    Zotero vs. WebDAV has no effect on data syncing.

    We're always working to speed up syncing and have numerous improvements planned, but we performed a major server move at the end of last week, and syncing is still running a bit more slowly than it should normally.

    Keeping auto-sync (such that you're always syncing small amounts of data) should help your syncs go through more quickly.

    Thanks for the news update and glad to hear about the "major server move". I've got my Preferences set to auto-sync and will continue to do so.
