Trouble importing RIS and BibTex files

Hi all. I have followed the directions for transferring libraries from Endnote with no luck. Zotero gives me a message that the file is not in a supported format. It does not matter whether I try to import a BibTex or an RIS file or whehter it is saved as txt or rtf. I even tried importing from clipboard. Does anyone have any ideas about what I might be doing wrong.

    Try a much smaller file to test things. Confirm that it is in the format you expect by visual comparison to example files. Paste minimal failing examples between <code> tags here.
