Abstracts not synching in group library

A student has been manually making abstracts and adding them at her machine. They are showing up in our group library online, but not showing up on my machine. She added the first of them last night, so there's been plenty of time, and I have seen the little green wheel turning. As far as I can tell, other features of synching are working. Can anyone tell me what's going on?

  • Syncing doesn't really work that way—it's all or nothing, unless there's some bug we haven't seen before.

  • You are right - I was so focused on checking that material was syncing from other people's machines that I didn't notice that mine is the problem. The arrow is turning but it looks like nothing has happened since yesterday in either direction between me and Zotero storage. The message is "Last sync 1 day ago". It has been turning constantly for hours.

    We are working with a short timeframe, and I really need other people to be able to see my changes . . .
  • You have nothing queued on the server right now. Restart Firefox and try again.
  • Thanks, Dan. There were 73 items with conflicts. At the end, I was presented with dialog boxes with reviews of the changes to approve. Some of them were so long they didn't fit on the screen, and I couldn't scroll to the end. I closed the first one, then later realized that hitting <enter> might approve the changes. I hope this works!
