Zotero shuts down after creating a screenshot

Report ID 1772748061
After creating a screenshot the center column turns white and the following text appears: Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten. Bitte starten Sie Firefox neu (An Error has occured. Please restart Firefox).
After Restart Zotero works normaly again. The Screenshot that caused the shutdown has been loaded completely and can now be renamed, read, marked....
Does anyone have the same problem or can tell me what causes it? I've been using Zotero for a year and until now it has always been working fine.
  • If everything is working well now, don't worry about it. If you can find a way to replicate the error reliably, please post here and we'll try to understand what is causing it.
  • Everytime after having taken a screenshot and doubleclicking on it to read it the error mentioned above appears. This happens after every (!) screenshot so that I have to keep on restarting firefox. The problem does not occur after attaching other files such as pdf.
  • Have you tried disabling your other Firefox extensions?
  • Thank you for the reply.
Yes I did, but it didn't solve the problem
Meanwhile I have discovered that the problem does not occur when I choose a different database (I keep mine on a stick).
Could it be due to some problem with databank integrity?
  • I think that I found a solution to the problem
I just checked the database integrity with the built in program, which told me to send
zotero.sqlite to the zotero database repair tool page
    https://api.zotero.org/utils/dbfix/
after overwriting the old version with the repaired one I was imedately able to click on freshly shot screens without firefox giving up on me!
    Zotero's just great!
    Thank you for your suppor!!!!
