Can't see my books

Greetings. I'm using Zotero as a result of a recommendation from a colleague who likes it very much. And it is very nice.

A question. After entering three titles as a test, I synced with the server. Yes, I've created an account and the syncing appears to have completed just fine.

But when I log onto my page, www.zotero.org/jeffneedle, all I get is a blank page. I refresh and it's still blank.

Can someone help? Thanks.
  • We're looking into it.
  • In answer to the question about blank page, it's just totally blank, a completely white screen. No text at all, no indication of anything happening. No prompts, no nothing. Very odd.

Thanks for any help you can give.
  • Should be fixed.
  • Well, when I go to www.zotero.org/jeffneedle, I now get a page showing any messages I might have, etc., but still no books. Sorry to be such a pest. What am I missing? I've looked all over the page and can't find any way to view my books.
  • Correction, is shows who I am following, and who is following me. But no books.
    should be your library
  • Tried it, I get the following error:

    Error
    Access denied

You do not have access to this area.

    Huh????
  • sorry - try
    www.zotero.org/jeffneedle/283887/items
alternatively, just click on "My Library" at the top left of this page.

adamsmith's first link was right. You need to log in (top right of the page). By default your library is only visible to you and the website and client require you to log in separately (though you use a single account).
Edit: You're logged into the forums, but every once in a while your browser may maintain your session for forums.zotero.org but not for zotero.org
(its on my list of things to track down, but its extremely difficult to reproduce)
  • Bingo! I had mistakenly thought that, when you go to your page, you're automatically logged in. I logged in, clicked on "My Library," and there my books are.

    Thanks so much!
