ATLA Relgion via EBSCO Error
I did a search of the forums and saw posts from 2007, a bit outdated now :(
I'm trying to save information from ATLA Religion via EBSCOhost and get the "Known Translator Issues" error. I access the database via proxy of my school's system: Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I'm using Firefox 3.6.4 on Windows Vista and Zotero 2.0.3. The searched keyword was "John R. Mott" and here's the URL for the results:
http://web.ebscohost.com.aaron.swbts.edu/ehost/results?vid=2&hid=7&sid=a900d95b-0365-4bde-88c0-5a0dcc702f1c@sessionmgr10&bquery=(John+R.+Mott)&bdata=JmRiPXJmaCZjbGkwPUZUJmNsdjA9WSZjbGkxPVBUMzEmY2x2MT1BcnRpY2xlJnR5cGU9MCZzaXRlPWVob3N0LWxpdmU=
I'm not sure what would cause this?

the translator is broken.
Which of the items on the search screen do you try to download?
will usually work as a workaround.
If that doesn't work (and there is no reason it shouldn't) you can still go through bibTex export from that same site.
I went through all of the troubleshooting tips in the link you provided, yet had the problems. I tried saving all of the results (failed), 3-4 items (choosing different ones each time, failed), 1 item at a time (different random item, failed).
You mentioned the export workaround. Which do I export it as? (I'm still new to Zotero, but have been through the guides and read the forums a lot to learn).
John
Then use the option "Direct Export to Endnote, Procite, Citavi..." in the Export screen of EBSCO (i.e. click "add to folder" for each item you want, go to folder view, click the "Export" icon - the page with the green arrow - then select that option. During all of this you only interact with EBSCO, you never touch Zotero - but once you click "save" you'll see the grey box(es) confirming that Zotero is getting the citations.
I'm still curious what's keeping the regular Zotero translator from working for you - I just checked and I can get all search results from the first page. To speed things up, trigger the error, then click on send report - don't send another report, but scroll through the error messages - very likely a whole bunch won't be relevant at all - the one that you're looking for with have a reference to EBSCOhost.js in it. Copy and paste that one (and only that one) here.
Thank you for the advice! I'll do that and post the results. It's possible that there was a glitch in the system that prevented me from getting it, too. I haven't checked since very early this morning.

The work around listed above does work for me. But I figured having the actual issue solved would be better. Thanks for any help.
