Can't drag references

Hi there, can't drag references into other programs anymore (openoffice, notepad, thunderbird, wordpad).
Also ctrl alt C doesn't seem to work anymore

Regards, Jon.

Windows XP Zotero 1.0
  • Hi Jon,

Could you please verify the your locale setting for me? Type "about:config" (no quotes) into the Firefox location bar, and then find the parameter called "general.useragent.locale". What is its value? If it's something other than en-US (and you want it to be US English), please change it to en-US, restart Firefox, and try dragging references again.
  • Hi Sean, thanks for your quick reply.
The locale was set to en-GB (i am in the UK so that was correct? I guess not?)
So changed the locale setting as suggested and it all works now.
It has also fixed my "can't communicate with Zotero" problem.
    You rock!
(as does Zotero and all the develpers)
    Many thanks,
    Jon

Jon: We'll get a fix out ASAP, but set extensions.zotero.export.bibliographyLocale to en-US (case-sensitive) and restart Firefox. That should fix the problem.

Edit: Or, as Sean notes, changing the main locale setting will work too—only difference is that that will change any other extensions that do have British English locales (Zotero doesn't) to use US English instead.
  • Hi Dan, thanks for your quick reply. I hadn't seen yours when I replied to Sean. I've changed the setting you suggested too and dragging and the communication problem are both fixed. Now just to be able to edit a citation other than the first one...
    Thanks again, Jon.
  • Zotero 1.0.1 is out with a fix for this problem.
