moving folder to group libraries

I am trying to share some folders and their items that already exist in my personal library by moving them to a group library but can't.

Drag and drop between the two libraries doesn't work. I have tried exporting certain folders but when I try to import them into the group library I just get a new folder with the items in my personal library.

Is there any way to do this without going into every folder and selecting each item and moving it to the shared library?

    You cannot drag and drop collections between libraries. Here is how I do this

    1) Create a new collection in the target library with the same name as the collection that you want to transfer
    2) Choose the collection that you want to transfer in the source library.
    3) Use ctrl+A to choose all references in the collection
    4) Drag and drop these to the collection that you created to the target library

    This is repeated for each collection that you want to transfer.

    I've run into the same problem reported by Kalli and used the solution proposed by Mronkko.

    This functionality would be very convenient to have built into the UI. Having to recreate and populate folders in a group library to match those in your personal library is quite tedious.
