Unable to add citations to word document - REF 279575056

Hi

Everytime I try to add a citation (or infact click on any of the buttons in the word citation plugin) I get an error message stating " Zotero experienced an error updating your document".

I am using the most recent Zotero with Word 2007 and dod not have track changes on. I am at a loss to what is causing it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Zotero with no change.

Can anyone help me? It would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks for replying to my post with advice. I seemed to have solved the problem by deleting an older addition of Java that was installed with some software I recently added.
