Downloading and installation don't work
1. Zotero won't download. Clicking on the download button produces absolutely no response. I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.8 and Windows XP.
2. Right-clicking the download button seemed to allow the file to be saved, but no software seems to know what a .xpi file is. Still can't install.

I am running Windows 2000 with the most recent Firefox 2.0.0.9 I have tried to download and install Zotero from both the Zotero website and the Firefox extensions site. It apparently downloads, but when I restart Firefox, there is no Zotero button to be found. This is odd because Zotero was working in the version I downloaded about three weeks ago.
That said, I have a laptop with Windows XP. It, too, is running Firefox 2.0.0.0 I tried to install Zotero from the homepage without success. However, when I went to the Firefox extensions page and downloaded from there (and I think the date of that version was Oct. 24), Zotero installed and runs fine.
So what might be the difference between the versions of Zotero and the difference OS?
