Style request: American Physiological Society(dev) but cyrillic referencies before the latin ones

Hi everybody, I am new to zotero, but I think that its great software. I have the following problem: As a citation style I use the American physiological society(dev) style which sorts the references in alphabetical order. It was ok until i put some references in cyrillic and they were sorted at the back after the latin ones. So i tried to find style with alphabetical order of the references with the cyrillic first and the latin next, but couldn't find one in the repository. It should be like the American physiological society(dev) style with only position changed of latin and cyrillic references. For example:

Text (3). Text....(2). Text......(4). Text.........(1).

Referencies (Alphabetical order):
1. Ангел В, Райчо Д.............
2. Стоян К.......
3. Anderson J,....
4. Hanson L.........etc.

If someone could help me with this issue I would be very grateful.

Thanks in advance
Iliya
  • Alyon is the local slavic languages expert, but I'm pretty sure this isn't currently possible, at least not without some ugly workaround.
  • I don't think that this can be done currently -- the upcoming 1.0 version of CSL can do sectioned bibliographies, but it may take some time before Zotero supports defining which sources go in which section.

Since you don't need them to be separately numbered, it would be enough to tweak the sort function... That's not something that Zotero or CSL currently lets you do, but maybe one of the Zotero devs could weigh in on whether an end user could make such changes.

This is an important use case, because all Russian styles and likely some other styles (Japanese? Chinese?) require sectioning by script or language; that is one of the remaining issues with the otherwise superb ГОСТ style.
