Chicago - can a comma easily be changed to a fullstop?

My supervisor has commented that when I cite a book in a series, it currently appears in the footnotes with a comma after the book title (eg: Book, Series) but apparently I need it to be a fullstop, (eg: Book. Series)
(sorry the book title should be in italics but I don't know how to do italics in here!)

I can do it in the editor, but that could be tedious going through a whole thesis!
I'm using Chicago Manual of Style - Fullnote with Bibliography
Thanks
  • While this is relatively easy to do, your advisor is wrong with respect to the Chicago Manual of Style

  • So he is...thanks for that, I will no longer trust my supervisor :)
    Thanks for your time
