problems with notes

I just downloaded the new version of zotero (after already having the old version). Now, for some reason, my notes are all out of order and there is no way to sort them. I try sorting things by clicking on the "Date Added" tab at the top of the window, but it only sorts my documents; my notes are still in alphabetical order and out of order. I can't move them manually because it will take the note out of the document it is listed under and put it in my general folder. Is there any way to change this because it really frustrating?

    There was never a way to sort items manually—they were previously sorted by the order in which they were added to the database. In the latest version, notes are sorted alphabetically.

    We'll offer manual sorting in a future version. In the meantime you can add a number to the first line to due manual sorting (left-padded with zeroes if you have more than 10).
