Report ID: 372872643

When trying to sync, the data transfer abruptly stops in the middle with an error - the report starts with [unrelated error removed — D.S.]. I tried and re-tried after restarting and the error keeps coming up. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, though the error I have my personal library stored on my university server and the error report mentions some Java script errors.

Thanks for any help,
Jiri
  • What's the error in the dialog?

Re-verify your WebDAV server in the Sync pane of the preferences.
  • I checked the server settings and it is set up correctly. In fact, I made the first upload to the server just few days ago and all went well. Even now, data transfer starts and I can see on the progress bar that it works, but after a while with few percent done, the process stops and Zotero says "A file sync error occurred. Please try syncing again."

I hoped that by indicating the report ID, you will be able to see the full details of the error... I have a localized (Czech) language version of Zotero, so the error report is partially in Czech. It starts with several identical lines saying "sync.zotero.org : potentially vulnerable to CVE-2009-3555", then one line with the same note but my uni server name and after that many of these:

[JavaScript Error: "Nenalezen žádný prvek" {file: "https://hajek:********@dpee.fme.vutbr.cz:8081/hajek/zotero/" line: 1}]
