I cannot edit info on any of my old or new articles

When I go to manual enter info (title, data, publisher etc) on the info box for items entered manually or picked up from the web I get a tiny blue line opening. Any suggestions?

    try disabling all other FF add-ons and (especially) custom themes.

    You wonderful man!! I only had three addons, better gmail, remember the milk ( a task management) and google gears, all of which I need. But since disabling them had no effect I put them back on. However uninstalling the themes WORKED.

    Never would have thought of that.
