Upgrade StorageSync not working

I've been staring at that green arrow in my firefox plugin rotating for hours now, but nothing seems to be uploading to the website. Also there seems to be no outgoing traffic (according to windows taskman). Is my plugin broken or is the zotero site just incredibly slow? Is there any way to track progress? (on the site it still says 0.0% use, suggesting nothing is happening despite continuous rotation of that green arrow). I'm not unwilling to pay for more space but if the sync feature is basically unstable it's a waste of money I guess...

jorisbMaybe I should add the plugin is hanging on "getting updated data from sync server". Traffic is 0 bytes/min. Thanks for any help.
