Can't create bibliography in word without citations
I updated to 2.0 and updated my plugins as well. Now I cannot create a bibliography in word without text or citations as I had been able to before I updated. I get a message that states a bib cannot be created without a citation. Also is there a way to generate an annotated bibliography in word using the notes in zotero, again without text or citations?

Two ways to create just bibliography:
1. Select the items in Zotero (within Firefox), right-click, select create bibliography, to clipboard, copy&paste.
2. Insert one citation, then insert bibliography, then delete the citation and before refreshing the document, edit the bibliography, adding all the citations you want.
To change that to "Abstract"
change
<text variable="note" display="block"/>
to
<text variable="abstract" display="block"/>

Any suggestions?
Until then - you could maybe purposefully "break" the citations in questions by adding, e.g. a space after them using the "show editor" function. That way they won't show up in the bibliography.
For me, the problem was to distinguish several parts in the bibliography, although citations would concern all of them.
I think the way I did it can be copied for other purposes.
I entered all the items in one collection. I added tags to the items, so as to use them to select items in the advanced search, saving the results. By this way, I obtained different views in Zotero (some items appear in several views).
The result is that I have a collection with several advanced searched lists, from which I can select items for citations, while writing the thesis.
At the end, I will insert the bibliography section, by creating as many "bibliographies" as my several advanced searched lists.
In case "There can be hundreds of them in a chapter which need to be cited in the footnotes/endnotes, but they are not usually individually listed in the bibliography.", I would use a particular tag, create a dedicated advanced searched list, without creating the corresponding bibliography.
