rename library items

Zotero decides how to name library files, but the names are often uninformative or call multiple different entries the same thing. How about adding an item to the right-click menu that allows one to rename the entries?

    Attachments, you mean? Click on the attachment name in the right pane.

    I haven't tried attachments--I've been using "snapshot." Will try.

    Yes, a snapshot is kind of attachment.

    Hmmnn. Still not getting it. Can you describe exactly how to determine or rename an entry?

    In the middle pane, select the snapshot. The right pane will have the title of the snapshot, buttons to view the snapshot and to show the file, the URL of the snapshot, etc.

    Click the title (the top line in the right pane). You'll get a popup. Change the name in this popup & click "OK."
