Zotero will not start in linux after trying to use a zotero library on a NTFS windows drive
Hi
I have a dual boot system with win xp and ubuntu linux and thought it could be nice if zotero could use the same library no matter what system was up running, rather than having two separate libraries taking up a more space and needing synchronization.
So I directed linux' zotero to use the existing library on a mounted windows disk where I have the zotero data for the windows system - this I expected would work nicely as zotero on windows runs well with the library in any location I point it to...
However, now zotero will not start in linux, giving the error console message:
Error: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80630002 [mozIStorageService.openDatabase]" nsresult: "0x80630002 (<unknown>)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/db.js :: anonymous :: line 1058" data: no]
Source File: chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/zotero.js
Line: 336
and reinstall/upgrade of zotero does not help.
Zotero still works well in Windows...
Does anyone have a good idea how to make it run on linux again - and shouldn't zotero be able to smoothly use a library on NTFS drive from linux? everything else does that...
Thanks! /Kristian
