Collaboration features timeline/code?

Just started looking at Zotero as perhaps a good way for us to organize research (this would be in a corporate rather than academic setting), and I'm wondering about collaborative features.

I know these are on the roadmap and Dan (?) I think mentioned that they were coming in 2007. I haven't seen these discussed either in the blog or on the dev list, and the SVN repository doesn't seem to have any dev code related to these features, so I'm wondering if there is a timeline or even a sub-project around collaborative features? Not looking for any commitments, but rather something we can use to make decisions about potential deployment and how Zotero might integrate into our existing infrastructure.

Also, there is another thread that mentions some code being in the Zotero 'Labs' that enables some level of data exchange/collaboration. Is this available anywhere? I haven't seen it in SVN or anywhere else.

  • I support the demand for collaborative features. We are a Europe-wide research group and would like to use a free Internet biblio that allows to create a cumulative and collective biblio data base. Any ideas when this might come into existence ?
