Openoffice crash: Report ID 222280458

Hi
I am getting openoffice crash every time I try to insert bibliography. My system is opensuse 64 bit, openoffice 3.1.1.5, latest zotero dev build. The crash doesn't happen on a 32bit windows XP setup.
When i launch openoffice from the console I get the following messages after the crash:

QPainter::begin: Cannot paint on a null pixmap

I think the zotero also record a relevant error report. the ID is 222280458

    just to chime in on this, I've got exactly the same problem (on a 64bit OpenSuse system), same error message and opcode.

    This is an OpenOffice bug that's fixed in OpenOffice.org 3.2. If you can't upgrade, see this thread for a workaround.

    many thanks for the quick reply, problem fixed by an upgrade to ooo 3.2. For those who want to install 3.2 through yast/zypper, the OpenOffice.org stable repo is here:

    http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/OpenOffice.org:/STABLE/openSUSE_11.2/
