incompatibility of the plugin with the new zotero 2.0.2

Hi everybody,

I am using Windows Vista and Word 2003

I upgraded Zotero to the new version Zotero 2.0.2
I tried to install the plugin for Word 3.0a3

When I open Word and when I try to insert a reference, there is a dialog box with : this version of the plugin for word 1.0b3 is incompatible with Zotero 2.0.2. I tried to reinstall the Firefox extension and also the Word components without success

What can I do ?

Did you try manually uninstalling the old version as described here?

I got this message and did all what was suggested to repair: “The Zotero MacWord Integration installation succeeded, but a necessary component does not appear to be loaded properly.”

nothing worked...Anybody has a solution, I'm using Word 2004, Mac OX 10.4.11

I regret now to have downloaded the new version...I'm losing so much time on this

but I have removed the plugin file “Zotero.dot” completely from my Word startup folder. and it does not work

what can I do ?

You should try reinstalling the new version again by going to your Firefox addons (to the Word integration addon), options, then reinstall word components. That should place a new .dot file in the same folder you removed the old one from.
