My Zotero stopped syncing 6 days ago. I tried on my other laptop today and it was working, but missed all the citations in the previous 6 days. Whenever I clicked on the sync icon, it would keep rolling forever. There is not error message. Local library can receive all updates online, but cannot send any updates. It says" Upload accepted. Waiting for Zotero server." But no upload.

Can anyone help me please?

    My laptop is Dell, Windows XP, Firefox 3.5.8

    There has been a spike in use of the Zotero servers lately because of all the upgrades since Zotero 2 came out of beta. I have read in other threads that they are working on improving the wait times. You could search for similar threads. How long have you been allowing the "Waiting for Zotero server" part to go before closing Firefox, or canceling? It can take a while during peak times, particularly if you are doing a first time or reset sync.

    Thank you for the immediate response. I am still waiting. Nothing is updated on the server yet. Zotero did prompt me that my tags are too long after 30 minutes and suggested split them. Now, tags are split, but still no updates on Web.

    Those long tags were automatically saved from Ebsco libary database. Zotero did not recognize the library database uses ";" to separate tags and saved all tags as one tag. Wish that could be fixed too.
