Attachments do not show below citation title in library

I just upgraded and when I have more than one attachment for a citation instead of displaying the attachments and allowing me to select the one I would like to open zotero opens the oldest file. The only way I have found to circumvent this is to add a new note to a citation at which point it will display all of the attachments below the citation and I can select the one I want and delete the note I started.
  • I assume you mean that Zotero opens one of the files when you double click on the parent citation. There is no need to create and delete a dummy note. If you want to see the list of attachments you can either click on the "+" symbol to the left of the citation, or hit the right-arrow key (if the citation is already highlighted) to display the list of attachments.
  • And if you really prefer the old behavior, you can disable the extensions.zotero.viewOnDoubleClick hidden pref by going to about:config in the Firefox address bar.

Note, too, that triple-clicking will actually still expand the parent, but if there's an attachment or URL it will open that as well on the double-click that comes first.
