HELP! Upgrade problem

When the zotero upgrade popped up in my updates folder on Firefox, I clicked on it automatically, but then read the upgrade instructions that said to make sure to back up your files before upgrading. I thought that was a good idea, and so closed firefox, opened it again, cancelled the upgrade for the time being, but when I went down to the zotero icon at the bottom right of my firefox window, it now has a yellow triangular warning sign over it. I can't upgrade up, I can't backup files, and I can't use my existing 1.0 version. I'm stuck! How do I get out of this dilemma? I don't mind sticking to 1.0 but I desperately need my documents in the zotero folders!!! Help?
  • you can still back-up - why shouldn't you be able to? It's a file operation that doesn't rely on Zotero:

then you can just install 2.0.2 from the webpage and it will update the current version.
