Could not save error with Google Scholar

Report ID 44892413. Get "could not save" notice when trying to download from http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,184,155188-229203,00.html
in Google Scholar. I have Firefox 3.6 and Zotero 2.0.2 on Mac Snow Leopard.
  • That sounds delicious, but what does it have to do with Google Scholar?

And that number is not a valid Report ID. You can copy it—no need to retype it.
  • Sorry about that - here is the url: http://books.google.com/books?hl=en&lr=&id=Ct6FKwHhBSQC&oi=fnd&pg=PP9&dq=%22Peggy+Eaton%22&ots=KN-Z0-HAcv&sig=snBNf7bilHi9GFH4-6-3s1ySI9Q#v=onepage&q=%22Peggy%20Eaton%22&f=false

When I changed the view to "overview" of the book it did save to zotero. The same thing has happened with several other books.
  • I had this same issue when I first came across Google Books and Zotero. Turns out it is expected functionality. For some reason the add item icon in the address bar only works on the overview page. As I mentioned previously though, even if that is intended behavior, the icon should not be showing up in the address bar on other pages.
  • An updated translator is now available. Your copy of Zotero should auto-update within 24 hours, or you can update manually by clicking Update Now in the General pane of the Zotero prefs.
