Lost Collection

Under "My Library," I have several collections. Recently one of them (the one I had been working with) disappeared. All the entries seem to still be there under "My library" but the collection folder is gone. I have no idea what I could have done. I use zotero on more than one machine so it could be a syncing error.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Well, you could have accidentally hit Delete/Backspace while the collection was selected and then hit Enter/Return.

    Unlikely and I would have probably noticed that immediately. I didn't see the collection folder was missing until a few days ago... the last I used it, everything was intact.

    Not sure what to tell you, as we haven't received any other reports of this. If you tell us the collection name and the approximate date it disappeared, we can look at some server logs, but they're unlikely to show anything other than that a deletion came in for that collection.

    If you still have the collection on another computer, adding an item to it and syncing should cause it to be recreated on the other—Zotero automatically chooses an existing collection over a missing collection in a conflict resolution.

    I just verified that the collection is intact on the other computer. I synced and now it looks like it is back to normal.

    All of my collections disappeared. Syncing does not help. All entries are still there, just no collections. I can not create a new collection either. jweaks

    jweaks: Do you see the collections on the website? If so, disable your other Firefox extensions.

    Disregard... it was FireFox... working now. :)
