Electronic journals

One of the problems that I have found is that if you are using electronic journals, Zotero only records the URL and not the actual publication, volume and page numbers. So it would be useful if there were a way around this.

This may be to do with Firefox opening pdfs with other programmes. I'm no expert, so apologies.

    We do have support for electronic journals (e.g., through InfoTrac; see http://www.zotero.org/translators/), but you are probably looking at an electronic journal that is not supported yet (by supported, we mean that a little article icon will appear in Firefox's location bar when you are on that electronic journal's page for an article, and a single click on that icon will capture the publication information). You can request support for collections in this forum thread:
