I have set my preferences. or at least attempted to and it keeps telling me that "the Zotero sync server did not accept your username and password"
I am using the correct user name and password as I have signed on to zotero.org. I am going crazy! please assist

    Make sure you enter just your username and not your email address (either works to login to the website, but only username works in the addon). Are there any unusual characters in your username or password? If so, you could try changing your password (your username can't be changed, but you could try setting up a second account). Finally, make sure to try all the usual troubleshooting stuff (clear browser cache and cookies, restart browser, restart computer, reinstall zotero, disable other addons, etc.).
