bulk import of references with abstract

when I try to grab several references at a time from Pubmed or ISI web of knowledge the abstract is always missing.
If I import into Endnote first, then export via RIS and import into Zotero, the abstracts are there.

Is there an easier way to get many references at once with abstracts?

    How are you adding the references from Pubmed? I almost invariably get abstracts from Pubmed, even if I am adding several references at once (from a search result).
