Attach Link to current page not working

Hi everybody,

For a strange reason, all the buttons under the paperclip button are disabled.

In other words I can see the Attach Snapshot... Attach Link to current page, etc but I can't click on them.

Is it a bug with the new version or a bug on my computer ?

    It works for me. I would try restarting, and if that fails, restarting again but with any other addons you have installed disabled. Try the default FF theme as well if you are using a different one.

    Wait a minute, do you have an item selected in the middle Zotero pane? The paperclip actions only work to attach to your currently selected item, so if you have not selected anything, they will be inactive.

    Thanks for your answer indeed. You are totally right, I had to select an item to activate these buttons. But I just realised this is not what I tried to do.

    I am looking for the "add a link to this webpage". It created like a bookmark and I found that very useful. But I can't find it anymore. Have they removed it in the last version ?

    In the 2.0 version, the "add a link" button has been removed in favor of the "create a new item from current page" button. Stand-alone links and attachments, as were often created in Zotero 1.0, cannot be organized and categorized as completely as can full-fledged Zotero items, so it is no longer possible to make them.

    To maintain behavior like you previously had, go to the Zotero preferences and disable the automatic attachment of snapshots. Then you can use the "Create a new item" button just like you used to use the "Add a link" button-- you can still double-click on an item to open the page (or a snapshot of it), and you can also add bibliographic data for each link or snapshot.
