Search Box not working?

I've tried searching through discussions to find any details on this; I'm sure it's there somewhere, I've just not been able to locate it.

Problem is the search box in the tool bar in the main Zotero pain (text field with magnifying glass) does not work. Clicking on it produces no response.

Suggestions? Fixes?

    it's generally working, so the problem is specific to your set-up.
    First step would be to disable any theme and add-on and restart FF. That seems the most likely problem.
