How does LOCATE search for your items?

When I click LOCATE to find this book...

ISBN is 8821533778. Valerio Merlo, La Foresta Come Chiostro: Influsso Delle Idee Cristiane Sull'ambiente Vegetale (Cinisello Balsamo, Milano: San Paolo, 1997)

...in WorldCat it doesnt find it. But if I manually take off the "La" it does find it. So how does Zotero search for these item? I thought it was the ISBN but it appears to be title?

what "code" does it send in the URL string to find these items? We might be able to tweak our resolver if we knew the codes( like ti for title or isbn for isbn etc)

Thanks!
  • Zotero generates links using all relevant OpenURL context object data, including both title and ISBN. The URL should be viewable for many resolvers, e.g. http://your.resolver.here/sfx_local?url_ver=Z39.88-2004&ctx_ver=Z39.88-2004&rft_id=urn%3Aisbn%3A1886411344&rft_val_fmt=info%3Aofi%2Ffmt%3Akev%3Amtx%3Abook&rft.genre=book&rft.btitle=Linux%20Music%20%26%20Sound&rft.publisher=No%20Starch%20Press&rft.edition=1&rft.aufirst=Dave&rft.aulast=Phillips&rft.au=Dave%20Phillips&rft.date=2000-09-01&rft.isbn=1886411344
