I use a style with footnotes - but need author in text
Hello. I use Zotero with a style that produces footnotes when I cite something, and it works perfectly fine for me.
From time to time I mention an author in the text, and also would like to insert the author and year with the zotero plugin. Is there a way to do so?
"For example I write this sentence and mention Smith (2006) who already did so. Also interesting is the text produced by Adam(2009), who discovered xxx."
Or from time to time I just need to mention the Author, without the year.
I think you know what I'm refering to. Maybe you can help me.

(Is what you're trying to do required or suggested by any official style? I'd say it's a bad idea to mix citations style - if you want to mention an author in the text do that, but follow that with a FN and not with a date).
e.g.: Doe/Johnson/Lambert argue that...
So that the author part ends up as a automated Zotero-Field?
Thank you.
