"There was an error starting Zotero"
Zotero was working fine last night. Today, I'm getting the yellow triangle. Running 2.0 on WinXP. I've tried deleting the compreg and xpti files. This works up to the point of getting me a blank default directory. When I try to point Zotero back to my data directory, the yellow triangle re-appears.
The Error Console reads: Error: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80630001 [mozIStorageService.openDatabase]" nsresult: "0x80630001 (<unknown>)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/db.js :: anonymous :: line 1058" data: no]

gcirianiedited March 1, 2010Same thing happened to me. However, after reading this thread, I closed all windows and applications. Before restarting the PC I made one last attempt to restart Firefox, and voila' Zotero was back running properly.
