Sync is only possible with zotero 2.0

Thanks for both your replies. I added a post to another discussion thread since the real issue seems to be with 2.0. The issue is this: the Zotero Firefox add-on displays a window in the bottom of the screen that has three panels. As I understand it, when I add a citation, some mention of that citation should appear in the middle pane. (This is the behavior in 1.0). When I click on "Library" on the left pane, I should see the contents (the citations) saved to that library. Instead, I see nothing. It's completely blank. There's no way to access a citation to view it or edit it, except to go to the on-line (because apparently, once it syncs, whatever Zotero is saving to my harddrive is correctly being uploaded to the on-line server.)

Thanks. I'll look at the Firefox profiles. I have another machine at my office and it works smoothly there (I just discovered). So it is something local to the machine. Thanks for the insights.
