Recurrent error: One letter field entry and exit, my workaround

Greetings,

Thanks for all the past help. I'm having a recurring problem where I am attempting to enter an author's name and it keeps exiting the field after one letter.

It just happened again, with the First Name field. As a workaround, I switched it to Name field, typed the full name, and switched it back to First and Last Name.

Is this a documented error, something new, or am I doing something wrong?

I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 and Zotero 2 rc.
