“to move and stick” or “to cut and stick” the captures not to have doubled blooms

if there were the choice to completely move the capture in the new under-collection, that would avoid having the captures in double (in the principal collection); one would gain in space of storage, of legibility of the principal collection and it would be organized better

    Hmmm, I'm not exactly sure what you mean. If you place an item in two sub-collections of the same collection, it doesn't show up twice (en double) in the main collection, so legibility of the main collection is not compromised. Nor do items in multiple collections ever get duplicated in terms of space.

    It's true that Zotero doesn't have a way to move items between collections via drag-and-drop, which has been requested a few times (and somewhere else I can't find). I also hope this will be possible soon, but for now you can just delete the items manually from one collection after copying them. Zotero even leaves them selected to make this easy.

    Perhaps you didn't know that Zotero stores all of its items in a database. This means you can add them to any number of "collections" or sub-collections without duplicating the actual data. The collections are a little like hierarchical labels in that respect, not like physical files.

    genesis: The documentation you quote is definitely confusing, since it gives the impression that multiple copies of the item are created. We'll fix that. Thanks.
