Winword plugin doesn't work after upgrading to 2.0rc1

After upgrading to version 2.0rc1, the Winword plugin has stopped working (error id: 656325646). I have also tried to reinstall after clearing the old zotero.dot, but nothing seems to work. I use windows xp and MS Word 2003. Is by any chance a new version of the winword plugin available? I use version 3.0a3.

    Error message is: "Zotero experienced an error updating your document"

    Do you have multiple Word windows open?

    If you open Task Manager, do you see multiple winword.exe processes?

    If you close all other Word windows except for this document, does the error still occur? If so, do you still have multiple winword.exe processes after closing the other windows?

    Does restarting Windows help?

    The first thing I did was to restart windows; anyway, before restarting, the problem happened also with one word window open only, though I didn't check the task manager.
